At the Bench

Arushi is an undergraduate student majoring in Human Biology and Public Health at UCSD. Her current research is focused on supporting the development and investigation of outer membrane vesicle based nanoparticle vaccines as therapeutics against multi-drug resistant bacteria. On a broader scale, she's interested in how host-pathogen interactions at the cellular and molecular level can ultimately shape patterns of disease across populations. In the long run, Arushi hopes to pursue a career as a professor and a scientist, prioritizing translational research that prioritizes global accessibility.

Outside of Lab

Outside of the lab, Arushi enjoys cooking and baking, crafting, and reading. She loves spending time in nature and is always looking for new beaches to explore!
