Medical Students
Over 300 students pass through the Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego campus each academic year. Third- and fourth-year medical students from the University of California San Diego rotate throughout all specialties on the main Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego campus and its affiliated satellite clinics.
Mentor Clinician Program
The Pediatric Mentor Clinician Program (MCP) at UC San Diego aims to transform how we train future physicians by delivering individualized mentorship and coaching to medical students from experienced Master Clinicians, with an emphasis on clinical skill development and empathic/compassionate care.

Med into Grad
Med into Grad (MED 275) is a spring course offered to MD PhD and graduate students to broaden the students’ clinical knowledge of the diseases they are studying. The course aims to expose the students to the clinical disease as well as promote dialogues between the trainees and the clinical experts who treat the conditions.
