Mentorship
The UC San Diego Department of Pediatrics is committed to fostering academic excellence, leadership, and professional growth among its faculty. Mentorship is central to this mission, providing guidance through academic, peer, and leadership pathways. The Department of Pediatrics Mentoring Excellence Committee (DOPMEC) supports this work by evaluating mentorship relationships, facilitating adjustments when needed, and strengthening connections, ensuring all faculty have access to the guidance and support they need to thrive.
