BEAM (formerly mini-MBA)

Unique and exciting educational offering created along with colleagues from the Rady School of Management called Business and Entrepreneurship Acumen in Medicine - BEAM (previously known as the Mini-MBA).

This highly acclaimed program has been developed specifically for UC San Diego Health Sciences clinicians and covers core aspects of innovation, entrepreneurship, management, negotiation, leadership, strategic planning and related topics. BEAM offers a great opportunity to explore the healthcare-business-innovations space and provides a starting point for getting your ideas off the ground. This course also provides a chance to network with like-minded individuals from the worlds of healthcare, business and engineering.

BEAM will be Zoom based, delivered live and occurring over 10 sessions, 6:00–9:00 pm on selected weeknights, October 3-November 9, 2023. The cost of $490 for UC San Diego Residents and Fellows is steeply discounted compared to the rate for faculty, or for similar offerings elsewhere, which would run $4,000–8,000. Sessions will be recorded, so you can catch up if you miss any.

Registration will be limited to 30 people. Register today: Beam Registration
