Brianna "Bri" (Naumchik) Rosenberg, MD
3rd Year Categorical Fellow
Bri is a native Minnesotan that moved to San Diego after graduating medical school and has found a new home in the sun. She completed her pediatric residency training here at UC San Diego and stayed for her pediatric cardiology training. She discovered her interest in cardiology early on in medical school and is excited to be embarking on this career path. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, traveling, and playing pickleball, volleyball, or any other outdoor activity.

Ashley Wong, MD
3rd Year Categorical Fellow
Ashley was born and raised in San Diego but found herself studying Human Biology at UC Irvine, attending medical school at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, and completing her pediatric residency training at UC Davis. She met her husband, Kevin, in Milwaukee and together they moved back to California with their black lab, Luca. She enjoys staying active whether that be going to the gym, hot yoga, kickboxing, or a week-long backpacking trip. She loves exploring new recipes in the kitchen including some new baked goods. Within her career, she has focused her research on studying single ventricle outcomes through the scope of vectorcardiography. She looks forward to the opportunity to learn new methods of studying the hemodynamics and physiology of patients with single ventricle physiology through her fellowship and her career.

Michael Lee, MD
2nd Year Categorical Fellow
Originally from Bethesda, Maryland, Michael volunteered at the NIH and later pursued research at Children’s National Medical Center. He completed his MD/PhD at the University of Maryland, with doctoral research focused on NKT cells in B cell lymphoma. He is currently working in Dr. Jerry Morris’s lab, researching dual receptor T cells in transplant rejection. Alongside his research, he completed pediatric residency at UC San Diego/Rady Children’s Hospital and was drawn to pediatric cardiology for its blend of outpatient care, inpatient medicine, and critical care, with a future interest in HF/transplant. Michael looks forward to starting fellowship alongside his wife and young son, Jamie!

Jacqueline (Jackie) Lee, MD
2nd Year Categorical Fellow
Jackie completed medical school at Georgetown University and pediatric residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She subsequently completed fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at CHOC. On her pursuit to becoming a cardiac intensivist, she is now looking forward to her second fellowship in pediatric cardiology! Outside of the hospital, she enjoys nature walks and road trips with her husband and dog.

Sofia Aedo, MD
1st Year Categorical Fellow
Sofia grew up in Chile and moved back to the US after high school to attend college at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. After graduating, she moved to San Diego, where she volunteered for several years at the UCSD Student Run Free Clinic. She attended medical school at UCSD, where she found her passion for Pediatric Cardiology following the birth of her daughter Olivia. She completed Pediatric residency at Oregon Health & Science University and is excited to move back to San Diego for Pediatric Cardiology fellowship. She looks forward to her daughter starting kindergarten, family trips to the San Diego Zoo, and serving the diverse pediatric population of San Diego.

Aneesha Pydi, MD
1st Year Categorical Fellow
Aneesha was born and raised just outside of Los Angeles and completed both college and medical school at Boston University. She returned to the west coast for pediatric residency at UCLA, where she found her passion for pediatric cardiology. She is especially interested in improving access to equitable cardiac care and has been involved in global health initiatives including a project building a congenital heart disease screening program at a hospital in rural India. Outside of work, Aneesha enjoys driving down the pacific coast highway, trying new cuisines, drawing henna art, watching thriller movies, listening to hip hop and r&b music, exploring new cities by bike, and spending time in the sunshine with her fiancé, family, and triends.

Hadeel Allam, MD
4th Year Interventional Cardiology Fellow
Hadeel is excited to be joining the Rady Children's team as a Pediatric Interventional Cardiology Fellow. Originally from Egypt and raised in Qatar, she completed Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. Fun fact: Hadeel has lived and trained in four different countries and loves exploring new cities through their coffee shops and local restaurants. Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and spending time with family and friends. She is looking forward to meeting everyone and becoming part of the Rady's family!
