PIDS

Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society (PIDS) is the world’s largest organization of professionals dedicated to the treatment, control and eradication of infectious diseases affecting children. Membership is comprised of physicians, doctoral-level scientists and others in the field of pediatric infectious diseases or related disciplines through clinical practice, research, teaching and/or administrative activities.

Conferences

IDWeek is the joint annual meeting of the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA), the HIV Medicine Association (HIVMA), the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society (PIDS), and the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP).

The St. Jude’s – Pediatric Infectious Diseases Research Conference, held at the St. Jude’s campus in Memphis, TN, is a conference focused specifically on pediatric infectious diseases, with talks from a wide-range of subspecialities in ID from global health to immunocompromised ID. The Pediatric Academic Societies (PAS) Conference is the join annual meeting of the AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics), the SPR (Society for Pediatric Research), the APS (the American Pediatric Society) and the APA (American Pediatric Association). This is a broad pediatric conference that welcomes research and presentations in pediatric infectious diseases and gives attendees a huge variety of presentations, lectures, and events to attend.
