The Pediatric Medical Student Interest Group hosts events across the academic year. Details of these events will be distributed as they are scheduled. Some of our recurring and past events are listed below.

Pediatric Subspecialty Mixer

A happy hour event involving Pediatrics Fellowship Directors and Fellows at Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego. This is a great opportunity for medical students to find out about different careers in Pediatrics. It’s also a great time to network, find research opportunities, and get to know the Pediatrics faculty in a fun, informal setting!

Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego Rounds and Tour

An amazing annual opportunity to round with the Pediatric residents, followed by a tour of Rady's. This is one of few chances to be able to see what it is really like to be a Pediatrician in a hospital setting. Inpatient pediatrics is a field that many students do not have exposure to until landing on the wards during third year!
