Profile
Hannah grew up in Los Angeles, California, and earned her undergraduate degree in Microbiology from UC San Diego. She then completed her M.S. in Biological Sciences at UCSD under Dr. Chitra Mandyam, focusing on how suppressing rebound bursts of neural progenitors reduces ethanol-seeking behavior in alcohol-dependent female rats through neuroimmune and endothelial regulation. Afterward, she worked at AlivaMab Biologics as a Research Associate, contributing to monoclonal antibody discovery using high-throughput cell and protein screening for pharmaceutical applications.
She is currently a first-year Ph.D. student in the Liu Laboratory, investigating potential vaccine targets specific to disease-associated P. acnes. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, trying new food and dessert spots, and binge-watching TV series.
