We’re excited to meet you in the coming months and share why we’re so passionate about our program.

Our primary clinical site, Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego, is the only hospital in the area exclusively dedicated to pediatric care. This unique focus allows us to engage with a wide range of pediatric conditions, from common cases to complex tertiary care. At Rady Children’s, our residents gain comprehensive experience in both foundational and advanced pediatrics. Additionally, we care for a diverse patient population, including individuals from Mexico and various refugee communities. By the end of your training at UCSD and Rady Children’s, we are confident you’ll be equipped to approach clinical challenges with expertise, compassion, and creativity.

We deeply value our residents and understand that residency can be demanding. The support of our remarkable co-residents makes the journey rewarding. The bonds we build as co-learners, co-teachers, and friends are among the most cherished aspects of our pediatric training.
