Profile

Martha is a fourth-year medical student at Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University, with plans to pursue a career in pediatrics. Originally from San Diego, she earned her B.A. in Mathematics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Martha joined the Schwimmer Lab in 2023, where her research has focused on exercise as a treatment for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease in children.
