Nhat Thai

Nhat Thai, PhD, MPH, is an epidemiologist based in San Diego, California, and a proud graduate of University of California, San Diego’s Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health and San Diego State University’s School of Public Health. His work focuses on pediatric health and addressing health disparities through data-driven public health strategies. Nhat currently serves as an epidemiologist for the Hospital Association of San Diego and Imperial Counties, where he leads the data team behind the 2022 Community Health Needs Assessment. He also manages the HealthDAT website, a vital platform that provides neighborhood-specific health data, evidence-based practices, and local resources to support community well-being across San Diego County.
