Dr. Ariel Feldstein
Ariel Feldstein, MD investigates the biochemical pathways of cell death triggers by over-accumulation of fatty acids and other lipids in the liver and other organs, which may play an important role in disease processes such as obesity-associated liver disease (nonalcoholic steatohepatitis or NASH), and type 2 diabetes.

Dr. Feldstein has been invited as a Visiting Professor to various National and International Institutions, including Universidad Catolica de Chile, Santiago, Chile (February 2012), Northwestern University (April 2012), UT Health Science Center at Houston (June 2012), Bambino Gesu Hospital, Rome, Italy (December 2012), and the University of Torino, Italy (February 2013).
